Val`s Rapid SVC in Saint Cloud

My grandma lived on the East side and we would love to have Val's when we went to visit her when I was young. Recently, my father had a health scare and was recovery in a nearby facility...his #1 food request from the outside world = Val's. Funny thing, two members of the health care staff saw the white bag and asked "Val's ?" And when I answered "Yes" their answers were "Lucky!" and "Love it.". Such a great institution and hope to visit again soon.

Always good fresh tasting food, made while you wait, wow can they cook, fast and fresh plus always give extra fries. Only down side can't eat inside, it's a take & go or eat in parking lot kind of fast food joint, but so yummy

Great place for the best greasy burger & fries! Can't be beat & has been around since the last 50's!

Food was great, staff was friendly, I'd recommend getting at least two patties if you get a burger. Reasonably priced. Milkshake s are delicious.

Best fries for size. Amazing shakes, good burgers. Reasonable pricing. They should bring the vals card deal back however.

Besides the rudeness I experienced, the burgers are pretty darn good. Really great cheap eat in St Cloud.

If you are craving an "old school" hamburger, get the works burger! And get an order of fries. You get a ton of good old style French fries seasoned with a buttery popcorn salt! I stop by here whenever I am passing through.

Specialize in burgers, fries, & milkshakes. Burgers have the works (pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard), fries are soft, milkshakes came with large bright straw and went down smooth. Old style burger joint, may look a bit worn down, but food is amazing! Cheese on cheeseburger melted perfectly. Can do triple patty. T-shirts available.

The best burgers and fries as usual!!! They have super streamlined the pick up process ... and very friendly from my first call to when I paid for my food.

I love Val’s! The burgers are the best fast food burgers in the St. Cloud area! Fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly every time! The fish and shrimp sandwiches are also fantastic! The fries are amazingly delicious, seasoned perfectly, and they give you a very generous portion! There’s many flavors of shakes and they are very tasty and have the perfect thickness!

Moving back here from California, my husband, kids, and I miss In-N-Out burgers, fries and shakes so much. We all loved the burgers and kids loved their shakes. About half our fries had a weird butter salt on them but the ones w/regular salt were delicious. Val's is about as close as we've come to In-N-Out here in MN so far. We'd come back again. 👍👍👍👍👍

The fries and the shakes made up for the over cooked burgers that were the size of mini frisbees. I know that I had your shakes before, but never actually had a burger. Very disappointed in the beef.

Cheap and good quality! Came recommended by a friend and wasn't disappointed.

As others have said, FAST service. Lots of delicious fries ordering just a regular. I liked it. BUT, the burgers are incredibly thin. They come with ketchup and raw onions by default. I didn’t know what came on the burger by default, so I didn’t know what to remove on the touch screen. Also, no ketchup comes with your fries by default. So you have to know to add that on the touch screen. Who doesn’t want ketchup with fast food fries? That should be added by default. Lastly, this place is strictly TO GO. There is nowhere to eat. So add that into your plans. No outside tables or anything. There are many other burger places I like better, but none of the “big” places make a better burger. I’ll eat here again when I’m in St. Cloud. Good value. And I hope to figure out the touch screen a bit better.

The employees are out going and the service is fast. The burgers and fries are hot and fresh. The buns are soft and fresh. You can pick condiments on each burger. They have tons of shake and drink choices. I especially liked that the pickles we chopped up the was pickle in every bite. I'll go out of my way to to come back when I find myself in St Cloud.

I don't come here very much because i live far away, but every time i come to Val's the food is hot fresh and delicious. the service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend Val's for lunch or dinner

Very friendly helpful staff - was my first time there so I didn't know the "drill". Good food at reasonable prices - would go again when I'm in St Cloud. Was recommended by my car salesman at Tenvoorde Ford - also would recommend him to buy a car from - his name Zach. Deserves a free burger!!!

Food is FANTASTIC, service is always super quick, locally owned and been around for YEARS, and prices are always incredible! Always cheaper and better than McD's!! Val's is a definitely a special, local-loved treasure in Central MN❤

Favorite hamburger place! Every time I come home I try to stop here. I’ve been coming here since I was in my teens, and over the past 25 years, it hasn’t changed - Which is a great! They are fast, efficient, and deliver a great experience! It definitely is a place I’ve introduced my children to and I hope that they stay in business for a long time.

Best burger in town in my opinion. They're so simple yet amazing. And I've spent the last 25 years trying to find the perfect milkshake and I found it finally at Vals!

We have ordered from Val's many times and they never seem to fully fill the order. Usually missing a burger or a shake. We have never complained because we get it, it happens with larger orders (around 10-20 people). This time, I decided to call back because we were missing one whole meal, two other burgers and the shrimp sandwich was not a shrimp sandwich...it was a fish sandwich. I was told by "customer service" that I can either bring the entire order back (after everyone already started eating) so he can look through it in front me (as if I was lying) or just leave it as that and ignore the fact that we were missing food. He was extremely rude and kept, not just our food from us but also our money. Nice scam they are playing over there. Terrible experience, another company that will never be ordering from them again. Remember, pray your food is there other wise you will not be seeing your money or the food!

Local favorite. Take out only. Small fry equivalent to McDonald's large. I recommend their shakes.

I like this restaurant! They serve splendid meals, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I like a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always of high class, the attitude towards the customers is efficient. I go often to this place and I was never unsatisfied. I highly recommend it.

Burger is decent and you have to try to french fries.

It's been awhile since I went to Vals but just picked up lunch now. The food is still incredible and the service is top notch. They were crazy busy but still delivered excellent food and service. Love me some Val's ♥️

The most savory burger you could have around the greater tri-county area. Double burger (or with cheese)with the works one order of fries and your milkshake and call it your treat. Plus there's the advantage of real having it at a historical site. (If it's not already, what's up with that?)

My double cheese with the works, fry and shake was the best! Delicious as always!Val’s is doing a great job with their new Covid-19 requirements! The employees were wearing masks and social distancing. They have call in orders only now, and call back customers one at a time to come up to the window when their order is ready. They prefer card over cash to limit direct contact with customers as well.They call customers back with different phones than the Val’s number. Make sure you answer any call you get once you’ve ordered, it could be them. My fries were warm and crispy, my burger was warm and had just the perfect amount of each topping. If you don’t order “the works” on your burger, you’re missing out! It’s a must, that’s what they’re famous for. Thanks Val’s for the consistently good customer service and food quality!

Vals has wonderful food. Their triple cheeseburger and their fries are some of the best I've had. They cooked fast and served even faster. You can self order for quick and easy in and out experience. The only thing I could reccomend was maybe a few booths outside but overall. It is a treasure to the saint cloud area.

Val's is a local hidden gem! Great burgers and fries but no place to sit. If you order a fries, be prepared to have a bag full. The standing room only in the small building is typically filled. The was one of the first places that had automated ordering to help with how many people fit in this small building. Highly recommended by everyone.

I have been eating here for over 25 years! The best fries anywhere. Great burgers and awesome value. One of my absolute favorite places for takeout.

My most disappointing trip to Val's ever. Aside from the stale buns, my double hamburger with bacon was dried out and cold, also being charged for the double and only getting a single. The buns which are normally delicious, tasted like it was bought off a shelf and pulled from a bag. My fries were old and cold. I have never felt this gypped eating.Sorry Val's I hope you get back to being the best, but until then I won't be stopping. Which is sad 😥because I love stopping.

Best fries around, they don't skimp on burger toppings, large shake flavor selection, great value. If you call ahead the wait isn't bad.

Love Val's. Their shakes are the best! My daughter doesn't care for their fries...not sure what they do different but they changed something. Right now you do need to call and order so it takes a little longer but still my favorite place to go in Cloud.

Love this place. it's a classic.. it's a St. cloud staple. If you can handle the chaos.. go in order on the screens. Pay at the window and enjoy. They keep it simple. It's cheap and good. Burgers, fries, and shakes. It's worth your time, it's an experience.

Definitely one of if not the best burger joint in town. Think In-n-Out Burger meets old school small-town charm. Great great place.

Just visited this place for the first time. Not from the area but found while heading back home. I think the food was great for such a good, cheap price. The fries while salty, were very good. I like the ordering system for I am a person who struggles to order while talking to the cashier. Overall, I would recommend and return.
